Introduction

I've been staring at this little box for a while. I always get stuck at the begining and then I think perhaps I'll come back later when I can share some thing more profound. It's especially hard when I feel like I'm having a conversation with myself. It feels a bit insane to go on like this. :o)

I've been living in Austin for about four years and love this wierd city. From the "Thriller" dance-a-thon on Halloween to the pulse of all the creative people here and all the great local buisinesses, I feel so lucky to have landed here.

My profession is in fine art and interactive design. Finding the edge where the emotive strength of art and power of communication in design mingle has been my study for a while. Digital technology has captured my imagination and I have begun to paint solely on the computer. I also design for web.

I love music and have a wide array of instruments in my living room waiting for a curious hand to pick them up and give them a life again. I play music like some people write in a journal. Everything seems to flow so easily when translated to a melody.

Yoga and meditation have been a life changing experience, I'd know I'd be on a different path had I not discovered them. I have been apart of the Shambhala community here and enjoy a wide variety of yoga including Anasura, Kundalini, Ashtanga and Hatha.

So I hope to meet some lovely people here. Fearless dreamers, compassionate givers, uninhibited dancers and spontaneous creators are among some of the types I would be honored to meet!
